1. Gentle Brushing: Before and after each use, gently brush the extensions with a soft-bristle brush or a wide-tooth comb to prevent tangling and matting. Start from the ends and gradually work your way up to the roots.
2. Washing: Wash the extensions infrequently, about every 15-20 wears or when they start to look dull. Use a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing or twisting the hair.
3. Conditioning: Apply a lightweight, nourishing conditioner from mid-shaft to ends. Avoid applying conditioner on the weft as it can weaken the silicone and cause the hair to shed.
4. Drying: Pat the extensions gently with a towel to remove excess water. It’s best to let them air dry on a flat surface. Avoid using high heat settings on hair dryers.
5. Styling: Use a heat protectant spray before using hot tools. It's advisable to use low to medium heat settings to prevent damage.
6. Storing: Store the extensions in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang them or lay them flat in a storage box or bag to keep them untangled and in good shape.
7. Avoiding Chemicals: Minimize the use of hair sprays, gels, and other styling products that contain alcohol or other harsh chemicals, as they can dry out the hair and cause it to become brittle.
8. Regular Maintenance: Regularly check the silicone wefts and clips to ensure they are secure and in good condition.

Light Yaki is made using a special Yaki metal mesh and undergoes a high-temperature and high-pressure process to achieve its curl. The texture of Light Yaki feels slightly coarse to the touch, but from a distance, it closely resembles straight hair. Its curls are durable and not easily deformed, maintaining their shape well. After washing, a minimal amount of styling is needed to restore its original appearance.

Regular Yaki, on the other hand, is formed using a serrated clamp at high temperatures. Its curls are more pronounced, with a noticeable serrated pattern, and the overall look is fluffier and more resistant to washing.

In terms of manufacturing costs and curl characteristics, Light Yaki is more expensive than regular Yaki. However, Light Yaki has less pronounced curls compared to regular Yaki but offers better curl retention.
